Research - Make-up for our thriller

Research to influence our own thriller opening.      Kellie Ward
Although all film makers want to produce something original, most ideas are drawn from things already existing. As we especially, are only starters in producing effective content, and thrillers are one of the most demanding genres to get right, I decided to do some research in order to improve the visual aspects of our footage.

Although a thrillers main defining point is to psychologically scare people, some films under the genre of thriller involve some gore and blood to a certain extent in order to terrify the audience even more.
We have chosen to include some squeamish visuals in our thriller opening (our storyline involves an infectious disease) So I believed that this low budgeted, unprofessional yet effective, step by step make-up suited us well.

The materials needed for this are inexpensive, and found in most domestic homes - It is therefore ideal for our low film budget.

We have knowledge that the girl members
in our group own makeup, so can                                                   contribute it to the film costing us nothing.

Toilet paper can undeniably be
purchased with a cheap budget,
or bought in by any member of our
group.
